What does Ponte Digital actually do?
Ponte Digital is a digital product partnership. We build, ship, and care for products with founders, from idea-stage sketches to MVPs that need real engineering.
The name means "put yourself digital" in Spanish. That's the work. We take what you have and make it a real product, one that runs and scales. An idea, a prototype, a no-code build, an AI-built MVP, an inherited codebase: all of it qualifies.
We work in three shapes: a long-term partnership, full builds from idea to live product, and audits or rescue work for projects that have stalled.

How much does a partnership cost?
Partnerships start at €199/month before VAT. Most fit cleanly into either the €199 or €299 retainer, scoped to your product's actual needs.
The retainer covers ongoing engineering: features, fixes, maintenance, performance work, infrastructure. We talk through your product during the first call and propose a tier that matches the real workload. Nobody pays for hours they don't need.
Build-from-scratch projects and audits carry a one-off fee on top of the retainer, scoped during onboarding.
No long-term contracts. Monthly billing. Cancel with 30 days' notice.

What's the difference between the €199 and €299 retainers?
Scope and capacity. €199 fits products in steady-state with ongoing maintenance and small improvements. €299 fits products that are actively shipping new features each month.
The tier is set during onboarding based on what your product actually needs, not on a feature matrix. You'll know exactly what's included before signing. If your needs change, we re-scope; nobody gets stuck paying for the wrong tier.
Both tiers include weekly demos, direct access (no ticket queue), and continuous code maintenance.

What tech stack do you work with?
Whatever your product needs. We're full-stack and choose the tools that fit the project, not the other way around.
We work across modern web stacks (Next.js, Astro, React, TypeScript, Node, Python), databases (Postgres, Supabase, MongoDB), and infrastructure (AWS, Vercel, Cloudflare). For inherited projects, we work with whatever's already there unless rewriting is the right call.
The starting point is your product, not our preferences.

How long does a typical engagement take?
Partnerships begin within a week of signing. Full product builds and audits depend on scope. Typical audits finish in one week, builds are scoped during onboarding.
The onboarding call is where we map the work. For a partnership, that's a kickoff and you're live the same week with a signed contract that protects both sides. For a build, we scope the phases, set the timeline, and you'll have a written plan before any code is written. Audits are one week, full stop: diagnosis, written report, fix recommendations.

How is Ponte Digital different from a freelancer or an agency?
We stay. Freelancers ship and disappear; agencies queue you behind their bigger clients. We partner with founders and care for their product long-term.
Most freelancers solve a problem and move on; the relationship ends with the invoice. Most agencies treat you as one account of many. You get account managers, tickets, and turnover.
A Ponte partnership means one team, weekly contact, and a real human who knows your codebase. We treat your product like it's our own. That's the whole difference.

What happens after we launch?
Most builds roll directly into a partnership. The product stays maintained, the codebase stays healthy, and you keep the same team.
Launch is the start of a product's life, not the end. After go-live, the retainer covers everything that comes next: bug fixes, performance work, new features, security updates, infrastructure changes.
You're never handed a "completed" codebase and left to figure out what to do with it. We stay because that's the actual job.

Where are you based, and can you work with international clients?
Ponte Digital is based in Tilburg, Netherlands. We work with clients globally and operate in English, Spanish, Dutch, and Papiamentu.
Most communication happens async (written updates, recorded demos, scheduled calls). Time zones haven't been a blocker in practice. Current partnerships span Europe and the Canary Islands.
If you're outside Europe, we work it out during onboarding.
